Arlington Heights 1990s:  Help!

A desperate seller called from out of state.  Her parents estate had been on the market for 242 days with no sale. She needed to do something, anything, to move this money pit. I did a walk through advised her that we could make a few simple changes to update the home.  Staging was essential, and making some of the main living areas seem more modern and comfortable were a priority.  I swapped out the chandelier and removed the dated and heavy curtains, replacing them where needed with light, linen tab top panels.  Once staged the house sold in 37 days.
